Here's my review for Bomb Defense:The main issue above all else is that you pretty much have to trial-and-error every single level.You're given a base amount of money per level that you have to strategically use to build a contraption to protect the kitten. However, it appears that you often have to build exactly as the game intends in order to succeed, because the amount of money they give you is very limiting. As a result, the game isn't very fun.. This is NOT your typical Tower Defense game. It does have a couple of gun turrets that can be placed in the level, but It is more of a a puzzle\/defense game. It's different than most games of it's genre. It is a thinking man's game with different ways to pass a level. You first select a level, then decide what kind of traps, blockades, guns, bombs and other devices you want to bring into the level to beat it. You do have a budget, so you must choose wisely from a list and cannot take too much into the levels with you. You can change the difficulty settings in the Options menu and it will give you more starting cash.Basically, enemies will try to kill your kitten! You must stop them at all costs!!! This is a serious trial and error type of game. The maps get more difficult and placement of things sometimes requires A LOT of trial and error!!! You will most likely fail your first few (or more) attempts on each map. You don't seem to get penalized for failing though. TIP: To look at the map before playing it, close your inventory screen by clicking the minus button at the top right corner of the inventory screen. The whole map will be revieled. Then reopen the inventory screen by clicking the "Inventory" button at the bottom of the screen.It is an average game done well. Seems polished and works great on my 2015 MacBook Pro! Like I said, it's fun, but it's not really your "traditional" Tower Defense game. I do like it so far! This is barely playable, not sure qualifies as a tower defense game. It's just poorly animated puzzles with traps. if it was $2 or less I might give this a pass but $8 is too high considering other indie games at that price. This is a fun game. You will likely have to lower the difficulty on some levels and go back later and try them again. So far I am enjoying the game. I got this game as part of the Yogcast Jingle Jam. I applaud the dev for supporting a good cause. I like the Jam as I get a chance to find games I would never encounter.I can firmly say I would never have encountered this game. It's bad. Bad enough to be scrubbed from my Steam Library so there is less of a chance of me ever opening it again.. Love this title! As a player you can choose different approaches to gameplay and use variety of tactics. As the game progresses the levels get increasingly harder. Lots of fun saving the kittens :) Highly recommended!!
